Luma Services has been selected for the “Shorter Working Time – It’s Happening!” pilot programme and has received funding of PLN 1,000,000 for its implementation. This is a significant distinction for us and a confirmation that we are an organisation ready to introduce modern working standards and bold organisational solutions.
As part of the pilot, we have decided to implement a rotational shorter working week while maintaining full pay and uninterrupted office operations. The project provides for a gradual reduction of working time – first by 10%, and then by 20%. In practice, this means an additional day off for employees: in the first stage once every two weeks, and in the second stage once a week. The rotational model allows us to maintain full office availability five days a week while genuinely improving team comfort and well-being.
The pilot will cover more than 90% of the Luma Services workforce. These are employees from key areas – from finance, accounting and controlling, through legal, HR and IT, to corporate communications, administration and expert teams. Such a broad scope will allow us to fully test the effects of shorter working time across diverse professional environments.
For Luma Services, participation in the pilot is not only an operational change but also part of a broader transformation strategy. We combine shorter working hours with process automation and digitalisation, the use of low-code tools, OCR, AI and system integration. This approach will enable us to increase organisational efficiency while genuinely reducing the working week.
By taking part in the programme, we aim to develop a model that can be scaled to other companies – modern, proven and beneficial for both employees and the organisation. This project is an important step towards building the workplace culture of the future, based on trust, innovation and social responsibility.
